Salesforce Integration
The Salesforce API integration connects your Voxe workflow to Salesforce. The AI can query and, if configured, update contacts, leads, opportunities, accounts, tasks, and custom objects — so support and sales conversations use live CRM data.
When the AI uses Salesforce
The AI will call Salesforce when the request is about:
- Contacts — contact details, related accounts or opportunities
- Leads — lead status, source, next steps
- Opportunities — pipeline, stage, amount, close date
- Accounts — account info, contacts, opportunities
- Tasks — tasks and activities
- Custom objects — if exposed via your Salesforce and tool configuration
The system message tells the AI to retrieve verified data before answering and to confirm with the user before any Create, Update, Delete, or Campaign action. Destructive actions are not performed without explicit confirmation.
Example use cases
- Customer: *"What’s the status of my opportunity?"* → AI looks up the opportunity in Salesforce and reports stage and details.
- Internal: *"Who’s the account owner for Acme?"* → AI fetches account and owner from Salesforce.
- Customer: *"Schedule a follow-up for next week."* → If tasks are enabled, AI can create a task after confirmation.
Setup
- Go to Dashboard → Integrations → Add Integration → API Integration
- Select the workflow that should use Salesforce
- Choose Salesforce and authenticate (OAuth or configured credentials)
- Select which resources and operations to allow (e.g. Contacts, Leads, Opportunities, Accounts)
- Save and enable the integration
Salesforce is per-workflow; you can limit which demos or brands have access.
