Pipedrive Integration

The Pipedrive API integration connects your workflow to Pipedrive CRM. The AI can look up deals, leads, organizations, contacts (persons), activities, notes, and pipeline status — and with the right setup, create or update records after confirming with the user.

When the AI uses Pipedrive

The AI will call Pipedrive when the conversation is about:

  • Deals — deal stage, value, next step, history
  • Leads — lead status and details
  • Organizations — company info, related deals and people
  • Contacts (persons) — contact details, linked orgs and deals
  • Activities and notes — tasks, calls, notes
  • Pipeline — stage names, movement, forecasting

The system message instructs the AI to always retrieve data before answering and to confirm with the user before any Create, Update, Delete, or stage change. The AI never guesses pipeline or deal status.

Example use cases

  • Customer: *"Where’s my deal in the pipeline?"* → AI looks up the deal in Pipedrive and reports stage and next step.
  • Internal: *"What’s the next activity for Acme Corp?"* → AI fetches organization and activities from Pipedrive.
  • Customer: *"Update the deal to closed-won."* → If update is enabled, AI confirms then performs the stage change.

Setup

  • Go to DashboardIntegrationsAdd IntegrationAPI Integration
  • Select the workflow that should use Pipedrive
  • Choose Pipedrive and add your API token (from Pipedrive → Settings → Personal preferences → API)
  • Select which resources and operations to enable
  • Save and enable the integration

Pipedrive is scoped per workflow so you can have different pipelines or visibility per demo.
